Handbook
A special note from Pastor:
I would like to thank you for your love for our Lord Jesus Christ, your involvement in His Work, and your concern for the children and youth that God has placed under our care. I want you to know that your sacrifice is not taken lightly. I am convinced that there is a special reward in Heaven reserved for those who offer to the Lord that which involves some cost to themselves, either in time or money or both. As a fellow servant I greatly appreciate those who come alongside of me and others in leadership in this church in order to see Christ’s will accomplished in our lives and in the lives of those to whom we minister. It is also my firmly held belief that ministering to young people is both a sacred trust and a tremendous privilege. We have the ability to make a difference, not only in our generation but in those that follow us. Let us do what must be done decently and in order. Let us serve our Lord with diligence, purity, sincerity, and wisdom. Thank you for your commitment! May God bless you as we serve Him together.
Thank you, Pastor Tommy Turnbow

The following qualifications and guidelines are set forth by the First Baptist Church of Webster in order to insure, to the best of our ability, an environment conducive to the spiritual growth of all concerned. We realize the importance, privilege, and responsibility of Serving our Lord Jesus Christ through the positions of leadership that God has entrusted to us. It is therefore expected that those holding positions of spiritual leadership accept and adhere to the following:
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
